Dined at the Kowin last night for the first time I am from Sydney and I was accompanying 4 local Old Bar residents. We were all super impressed with the meal. Five different dishes plus fried rice first class, large servings, first rate service, cheap price. The best Chinese meal I've had in years. We will be back. My advice, do yourself a favour and dine at the Kowin

This country town restaurant was able to present the nicest and tastiest food I've had the pleasure to enjoy. The recommendation from the hotel did not disappoint. Friday night was very busy with full inside and outside seating but they made sure we were seated and the wait staff were all polite, pleasant and helpful. I really enjoyed the meal.

Best Chinese in Taree if you go you must try their Beef Goreng ,crispy beef in sticky sauce Yummmmm. Also they give a complimentary bottle of softdrink and a fortune cookie

Had takeaway last night and it was good except fried rice was a little bit gluggy and it never usually is. Keep up the good work guys. i have just read some of the reviews, and some people do not know know what good food and prices this restaurant has. If you don't like it ,Nick off.
