Tony welcomes you aboard the “Estuary Magic” for some fantastic fishing and an amazing eco tour experience, on the pristine waters of the Wallis Lake and surrounding waterways.

We cater for all types of estuary fishing from serious fishos to couples and families. Charters are individually designed and include morning, family, twilight and prawning charters. All fishing charters also include crabbing in season.

The Estuary Magic is licensed to carry 10 people including the skipper. And being 6m long with a width of over 2 meters and a canopy for all day shade, a trip on Estuary Magic is comfortable for the whole family.

Tony also offers a free pick-up and drop-off service in Forster-Tuncurry.

We just had the very best time, a personal adventure due to Covid restrictions, and so excited for my Hubby who had NEVER caught a decent fish in his life finally got something really special . Great morning on the lake and one of the best fishing experience in our life! The whole family loved it. Tony from Forster Estuary Charters was knowledgeable about all aspects of fishing and super fun guide with a great sense of humour. We didn't have to do anything - not even putting the baits on the hooks. Tony did everything for us, we just sat there like kings and queens holding the fishing rods bringing them in, and in the end of the day Tony cleaned all the fish for us ready to be cooked. We took home a great feed of whiting, flounder, leatherjacket and squid! We are definitely coming back for more!

What a fantastic day on the water, we got a nice feed of whiting and flathead, Tony sure knows the lake and gets you onto the fish, he supplies all the tackle and bait. You are pretty much guaranteed to see some dolphins on the trip too.
