  • Breakfast 7 days 7:30am-11:00am
  • Lunch 7 days 12:00pm - 2:30pm
  • Dinner on Friday & Saturday every week 5:30pm - 8:30pm (last food orders at 7:30pm)
Tea Gardens Boatshed Restaurant has been established as a restaurant/cafe since 2000. In that time we have grown to incorporate a fully licensed cafe and restaurant currently capable of seating 40 guests with tables available for take away dining as well along the street.

Boat Hire
Cruise at your own pace or just pull up for some fishing, our boats provide a great way to experience the Myall River. We'll give you a briefing before you leave so you know how to drive these vessels (they're pretty easy,) a map so you don't get lost and some life jackets if you decide to go for a swim but don't know how. Oh, and you don't need a boat license to drive these, how good is that?!

Boat Moorings
Swing or pier moorings for large boats. Walk on, walk off, for boats to 7 metres.

Great spot for brekky on the river at Tea Gardens. Was quite busy when we dropped in and based on our experience we can see why. Food and coffee were delicious and service was outstanding. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Beautiful place to eat lunch along the river, my partner and I didn't find the food that great but the staff were very nice. I also found the food to be a bit pricey for what it was.

Fantastic restaurant by the water. Definitely recommend the linguine marinara when they have it as it's on the special menu. I had the seafood pie - very generous amount of seafood - prawns, squid, mussels and fish. The mashed potatoes were so silky and creamy, cooked to perfection with crispy, fluffy light pastry that covers over the pie.

Oh my goodness, we really enjoyed our lunch. Over the water, small place, great vibe and friendly staff. It was a beautiful day for a short motorcycle ride to Tea Gardens, sunny and not too hot. We had eaten at the Boat Shed before so we knew what to expect. We weren’t disappointed and I’m sure you wouldn’t be.
