While vacationing in the upper regions of the Hunter Valley, a large group of us visited this quaint but bountiful farm near Gloucester. The host was a very polite and knowledgeable lady who gave a thorough and fascinating tour of the herb gardens. She freely picked some herbs to let our group smell and taste, it was engaging the majority. She even provided extra advice on growing plants and taught us how to regrow rosemary which she gave free to my mother. Her attentiveness was superb, we suggested some patience when it came to our group as some were not fluent English speakers. She still ran the tour smoothly and gave breaks for some of us to take it all in. What was more amazing was the food, morning tea was glorious with tasty homemade scones and cakes. Lunch was very generous and fulfilling with homemade sausages, oven baked pizzas and cake slices. All of that is under $50 per head! The value in this place is extraordinary and shows how a family can make strangers feel comfortable at the table and in the garden. Highly recommend to check this place out if you ever plan to go to the Hunter

I visited this farm on the way out with my family, after seeing a brochure of the farm on the shelf from where we were staying. Karen took us on a tour of her farm, and was very informative, hospitable and patient in answering questions. She picked herbs and plants allowing us to have a smell and taste, and she was encouraging us to keep anything we picked. We were given a lovely try of 2 teas under the rotunda. Karen was very personable in sharing her expertise and communicating with us and the other family there. We taste tested the herb mixes, sauces and jams on the table. We bought 2 jams which tasted great on the day which I can't wait to have at home. Thanks once again Karen - we look forward to seeing you up at Gloucester again! Best wishes

The most phenomenal place to go. I went away with a group of 15 to Barrington and heard a little about this place. We didn't know what to expect but we were all blown away. We did morning tea and they went above and beyond. The tour was so engaging and informative. The host, Karen, was so kind!! Will be recommending to everyone!

It was a lovely farm with a very helpful young lad Shaun. We were just driving by and stopped to have a look around. He was quite accommodating to show us around and helping with potted herbs. Would love to visit again.
