Famous across the Barrington Coast for their sourdough breads, there's now a Forster shopfront for Palms Artisan Bakery, so now you don't have to wait for the next farmers market for your baked goodies.

Like all good country bakeries there are no mass-produced items here, just small batches of sourdough breads, better-than-French croissants and Danish pastries, plus edible works of art under glass tempting you.

Try the pistachio scroll (pistachio cream, pistachio crumb and ruby ganache), one of the donuts (tiramisu coffee cream donut please) or one those tarts topped with fruit that looks like glistening jewels.

Oh, this is a great place to grab some Little Marionette coffee (yum) and a super tasty pastry to go. The bread is awesome, too. This is more of a grab and go type place, but there is some limited seating out the front if you're lucky. But I recommend grabbing a coffee and snacks, heading out the back, and sitting at the water's edge with your goodies.

So good to have fresh local sourdough each day. We had a croissant (super buttery) , a quiche - delicious, and a delicious piccolo and long black. We’ve made this a daily treat.

For our local bakery: we are lucky to be in heaven!! The staff work very hard to get all orders done efficiently and with their top notch quality! We love their baked goods and would often hunt them down at markets so we are very grateful to have a shop front and amazing coffee to go with it. I started a low FODMAP diet and their sourdough is the bomb diggity! Many of their baked goods are made so well and from such great ingredients that I don’t have any issues with my diet! My family and I are so grateful for the amazing quality and products we get from our regular bakery! Thank you team!!
