Callicoma Hill Eco Cabins offers self-contained cabins or rustic bunkhouse accommodation in the Mount Royal precinct of Barrington Tops, high above Singleton. It is 45 minutes north of Singleton in the Hunter Valley, about 3 hours north of Sydney and 1 hour from the Hunter Valley vineyards. A separate rustic bunkhouse and a bush camping area are also available for groups. The comfortable self-contained 3 bedroom eco-cabin sleeps up to 10 people. The rustic bunkhouse in a forest clearing sleeps up to 10 people in two rooms. There’s unlimited bush camping sites around the bunkhouse (unpowered). Accredited by Ecotourism Australia, there is no TV or WiFi to distract you from the peace & quiet. You can create delicious meals on the wood fired stove/oven in the self-contained kitchen. The living/dining area has a wood fire for cosy winter evenings, and a sunny outlook. The bedrooms and bathroom are separated from the kitchen/living/dining area by a short covered walkway. Enjoy peace & quiet, fresh air and great views across the Hunter Valley. Watch kangaroos and listen to the birds – we are surrounded by native wildlife. Take an easy stroll or challenge yourself with longer bushwalks in nearby Mount Royal and Barrington Tops National Parks. Take your mountain bike for a 30km adventure, or visit nearby Lake Saint Clair. Or simply sit on the verandah and do nothing!

Beautiful back to nature lodge. Wonderful bush walks which bring you back to reality and make you appreciate the smaller things in life. I done a guided bush bushwalk with Martin, definitely well worth it. I recommend every one to jump onto one of these. Booked through try booking

Lovely place for stargazing at night and camp fire. The bunk house was also clean and tidy. We had an amazing time over there.

Beautiful location with a bunkhouse where you can enjoy the fun of camping but still have an actual bed!

Cosy place to spend time away from city life. St Clair lake would be the most astonishing attraction near this place. Martin is great host. Recommended if you like wild places
