Basketry is an ancient craft that is relevant in contemporary life as it allows us to slow down & experience the satisfaction of creating something hand made. Making natural products using organic materials takes us back to basics.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, no previous basketry experience is required & all materials are provided. You will make & take home a beautiful random weave basket, using natural cane, you will learn how to start, finish & shape your basket.
You will be supplied with round core/reed cane, and printed handouts to refer to during and after the workshop.
