What a find! We spent a night here while travelling through the area, but we could've easily stayed longer! The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The house is beautiful and tidy. We'll be back next time we're travelling through the area!

Very literally a last minute booking, we rang just before 6 and were given a gorgeous room for the night. The house and grounds were beautiful. The hosts were lovely. We will be back.

We have now stayed here a couple of times as an overnight stay when travelling from Melbourne to QLD. It is ideally located and close enough to pop down to the beach where there are a few really good restaurants. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. They do allow small pets with prior notice. The house is great and there is a variety of rooms which are lovely and well appointed. Breakfast provisions are great with access to a full kitchen. When we next travel we will definitely be staying here again.

Travelling from Brisbane for a wedding, we had the pleasure of staying at Palmyra in Sept '24, experiencing two of their accomodation options. The Maple cabin is private, quiet and cosy. Enjoying a bath on the deck with candles lit on a wet, cool night was a lovely treat. We also thoroughly enjoyed the elegance and comfort of the Mahogany suite in the beautifully restored and decorated main house. The beds are lovely, very comfy. Maria and David are very friendly hosts and went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay again if we are down that way, and highly recommend Palmyra. Geoff and Sandra

It's a really great older large mansion type house. The hosts were really helpful with ideas of what to do and where to eat. The bed was really comfy, and the breakfast was really good.
