Overlooking the beautiful Barrington River at The Steps rapids with serene bushland views
Riverview Cottage is a self-contained holiday home that can sleep up to 11 people in contemporary comfort. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, an open plan living area and fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Air conditioning (in the main house) allows year round comfort and you’ll love snuggling in front of the fireplace in the cooler months.
For relaxed al fresco meals, the covered deck overlooking the river is perfect for your outdoor entertaining, complete with table setting and barbecue ready for your long lunch.
Bed linen and bath towels are included in the tariff as well as blankets and doonas. ​If you intend swimming in the river or at the Olympic pool in Gloucester, kindly bring your own beach towels.
Please note no pets are allowed due to the close proximity of wildlife.
Bedding configuration sleeps up to 11 people:
- Main bedroom – queen double: sleeps 2
- 2nd bedroom – 2 sets of single bunk beds: sleeps 4
- 3rd bedroom with ensuite bathroom (in the annex attached to the house) – 1 tri-bunk bed (double below, single above): sleeps 3
- Fold-out sofa bed on landing at top of stairs: sleeps 2 (suitable for kids or young adults)​
