A purpose-built whale watching platform with great views, at the end of a short coastal rainforest walk.
Black Head whale watching platform is one of the best vantage points along the Barrington Coast's pristine coastline to spot migrating whales, usually from May to October.
The platform stands 4 metres tall to ensure the protection of its littoral rainforest surrounds.
Access to the platform is via the headland park above Black Head Surf Lifesaving Club on Main Street). You then take a short walk through the littoral rainforest before reaching the platform.
