Second Head Lookout in Forster is located on the headland between Forster Main Beach and Pebbly Beach. The lookout is the first on the Bicentennial Walk and gives visitors expansive views. Looking north and you can see the breakwalls of Forster and Tuncurry and on a clear day see the entire stretch of Tuncurry's Nine Mile Beach all the way to Black Head. Gazing south you see the picturesque Pebbly Beach and Tanks swimming hole before the rocky headland of Bennetts Head rises above the Pacific.
Second Head Lookout is a great vantage point to see the migrating whales from May to November and the bottlenose and common dolphins that call this coastline home.
You can access the lookout on foot via the stairs at Forster Ocean Baths or from Pebbly Beach. There is a carpark and picnic tables at this lookout.
