Bennetts Head Lookout is a viewing platform at the end of Bennetts Head Road in Forster. The lookout is right next to the turning circle and is one of the few lookouts in the region that is wheelchair accessible.

The viewing platform sits out above the rocky headlands giving visitors views south towards The Tanks, Pebbly Beach and the Forster Tuncurry breakwalls. Gazing north and you will see over the headlands towards Cape Hawke and One Mile Beach.

Bennetts Head Lookout is one of the best vantage points to spot whales during their migration between May and November.

The lookout offers pretty spectacular views across the Tasman Sea. There is a walking track that leads down to the One mile beach but it's steep. The walking path runs along the coastline offering pretty amazing views & there are multiple viewing decks along the path. A great place to visit with plenty of street parking.

Very pretty. Saw Dolphins and a floating turtle! Don't worry he wasn't dead he dived soon after!

Specular sea views. Saw turtles. Take insect repellent as path is overgrown. Great whale watching spot.

Nice lookout with 3 viewing areas. Easy access, and a short walk between each. Path is well maintained but walk can be quite steep if you do a full loop.
