Annual Harrington Fireworks on New Years day!
The much-loved coastal town of Harrington once again hosts fireworks on the night of January 1st from the breakwall at 9pm, a spectacular event not to be missed.
** Wildlife alert ** Due to the little terns nesting on the sand spit, 4WD access to the area is prohibited and there is no right turn onto the beach.
Join us for the day to enjoy:
- 12am: Festival Fishing Competition
- 8am – 2pm: Marine Rescue Markets
- 9am – 1pm: Harrington History Exhibition – Memorial Hall
- 12.30pm to 2.30pm: Troppo Bob Illusion Magic Show – Club Harrington
- 3pm: Sideshow and Carnival Rides, Food Trucks – East Oxley Reserve
- 3pm: Food and drink stalls – West Oxley Reserve
- 6.30pm: Live Music – East Oxley Reserve
- 9pm: John Gollan Day Fireworks on the breakwall
