Dan Buckley

My wife and I first came across Gloucester in 1996 when I was travelling there for work and we moved here 2004. My favourite things to do are experiencing simple local pleasures such as sunrises on a misty morning, a leisurely bushwalk along a forest trail, a dip in the cool waters of the Barrington River on a hot summer’s day, a relaxing drink with friends after a round of golf on the picturesque Gloucester course (set in the shadows of the iconic Buccan Buccan mountains) and late afternoons listening to the birds while watching the wonderful colour changing sunsets from the deck at The Ridge.

We have owned and operated The Ridge Gloucester for the past 10 years and enjoy it because we get to share these simple local pleasures with our guests.
