‘The Park’ is a large-scale work blurring figuration and abstraction.

Luke is an architect and artist who grew up in Gloucester, currently living and working in Newcastle, NSW. In 2022 with Curious Practice, he completed the installation ‘Undertow' at the Barrington reservoir as part of MidCoast Council’s Barrington Coast Art Trail—The Tanks initiative. Exploring mediums, his creative practice often traces autobiographical ground and introspective themes that seek common resonance with viewers. ‘The Park’ is a large-scale work blurring figuration and abstraction. An attempt at recording personal history beyond linear narrative, the exhibition explores the creation of myth and distortion of memory at the scale of the individual.
