'Metaphysical Space' at Gloucester Gallery.

At its core, metaphysics goes beyond the observable and empirical, delving into what lies behind apparent reality.

Throughout history, metaphysics has challenged and stimulated the human mind; I took this premise during this work to uncover the ultimate nature of reality and our place from questions about the nature of time and space in my life.

The word "metaphysics" comes from the Greek "meta," meaning "beyond," and "physical," referring to "the physical." Therefore, metaphysics refers to what is beyond the physical, what goes beyond what our senses can perceive and our instruments can measure.

Dr. Enríquez is an interdisciplinary artist with a vast culture and solid technical knowledge in painting. She also works in printmaking, photography, and digital art; she has participated in art and music performances and has been a volunteer curator at the Newcastle Community Art Centre and contractor curator at the Newcastle Art Gallery. From 2007 to 2008, she obtained an internship at the National Gallery of Australia through ANU in curatorial and aboriginal studies.
