Shibori is an ancient craft that is relevant in contemporary life as it allows us to slow down & experience the satisfaction of creating something hand made. Making natural products using organic materials takes us back to basics.

This workshop is suitable for beginners, no previous experience is required & all materials are provided. You will learn how to make an organic indigo vat, and how to do three different styles of shibori.

You will be supplied with ingredients to make your own indigo vat at home, a tea towel, scarf, and bag that you will use for our shibori exercises, and printed handouts to refer to during and after the workshop.

You will need to bring a plate to share and a bottle of water (a selection of herbal teas will be provided).

The workshop will be held in my own personal studio, located in Coomba Park, from 10:30am and will take between two to four hours (address provided upon registration).

Cost: $111 - Places are limited. Your space in this workshop is reserved only once full payment is received.

Please read the refund policy before purchasing tickets. See FAQ page for more info.
