The Tuncurry Forster Jockey Club has been selected to host a heat of the 2023 Country Championships, a race with prize money of $150,000.
There are nine heat races at racecourses across NSW, each with $150,000 prize money, culminating in the final race 1 April 2023 at Royal Randwick worth $500,000.
2GB's Ray Hadley will be broadcasting his Friday radio show on 8 February at the racecourse. There will be past and present sporting celebrities attending and much more for patrons to get involved with.
