Discover the traditional lands of the Worimi and Biripi people, at the foothills of Barrington Tops.

Walk alongside an Aboriginal volunteer on this 4km tour in Copeland Tops State Conservation area near Gloucester. We’ll discover the traditional lands of the Worimi and Biripi people, at the scenic foothills of Barrington Tops.

Along the way, you'll connect with this beautiful country as you listen to cultural stories from Aboriginal guides and those of their ancestors.

Explore the rainforest overhung by strangler figs, shatterwood and grey myrtle. You’ll gain a unique insight into the wisdom of the world’s oldest living culture. Meander along the track to discover the amazing variety of native plants that were utilised for food, shelter and medicinal purposes.

Aboriginal people have always and will always have a deep connection with the landscape and everything in the landscape has significance including the land and waterways, plants and animals. This history will forever be an integral part of this landscape.
