Bright Stars - The Sydney Symphony Fellows

Australia’s brightest musical talents return to Taree. As members of the Sydney Symphony Fellowship program, these ten young emerging professionals shine in a program of delightful French and American music.
You’ll hear the brass musicians in bright and cheerful music and a tango-infused suite for alto trombone and string quartet. The winds each have their moment in Françaix’s light-hearted Divertissement and Barber’s languid Summer Music. And Ravel’s String Quartet gives the strings their chance to shine with gorgeous melodies and some of the most exciting music written for string quartet.
