Book binding is an ancient craft that is relevant in contemporary life as it allows us to slow down & experience the satisfaction of creating something hand made. Making natural products using organic materials takes us back to basics.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, no previous book binding experience is required & all materials are provided. You will make & take home four different styles of books.
You will be supplied with paper, card, felt, fabric, thread, and printed handouts to refer to during and after the workshop.
You will need to bring a plate to share and a bottle of water (a selection of herbal teas will be provided).
The workshop will be held in my own personal studio, located in Coomba Park, from 10:30am and will take between two to four hours (address provided upon registration).
