The Manning Entertainment Centre is open again, and to celebrate we are hosting a series of events specifically showcasing local talent from the MidCoast region. Since the beginning, over 30 years ago, Taree Arts Council has been an integral part of the MEC’s history, presenting countless shows over the years. We are delighted to welcome them back as they present an exciting production highlighting songs and scenes from the past decade, and some blockbusters to come - all served up with the original, costumes, lighting and special effects you loved.
Gayle Cameron stands at the helm once again, directing original cast members of the highly acclaimed past shows, and overseeing the production with her famed creativity and craft. And what a cast it is! The line-up includes much-loved local performers, returning to the MEC to enthral and delight patrons. Hold your breath for stellar performances by Jeremy Miller, Stacey Sedlen, Mary Camphuis, Rod Illidge, Liz Hall, Tim Gibbs, Trish Williams, Pam Phillips, Nicole Burton and more – in fact so many more that the full company will be delivering an unforgettable finale that you won’t want to miss.
Taree Arts Council has consistently delivered musicals and plays of astonishingly high quality over the years, and this is an opportunity to see the excellence on show again.
