By car
Getting to the twin towns of Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest on the Myall River is easy, follow the signs and you can’t miss them.
1. Pacific Highway
From the Pacific Highway exit ramp north of Karuah, the journey to Tea Gardens via the Myall Way is 10 km and takes about 10 minutes.
Crossing the Myall River via the Singing Bridge into Hawks Nest is a further 2 km and takes less than 5 minutes.
2. Bombah Point Road and Mungo Brush Road
If coming from the north, the journey from Bulahdelah via Bombah Point Road and Mungo Brush Road is very scenic. This route to Hawks Nest is 41 km and takes about 40 minutes.
Crossing the Myall River via the Singing Bridge into Tea Gardens is a further 2 kms and takes less than 5 minutes.
By train
The nearest railway stations are Broadmeadow and Taree which are on the main northern rail line from Sydney to Brisbane. There are several XPT trains per day in both directions.
