Pacific Palms Arts Inc.
Pacific Palms Arts Inc is a dynamic group of busy, art loving locals who still find time to create the following wonderful programs for their community and visitors to enjoy. These programs inspire creativity and community connectivity through collaboration and colour, not only in school children regionally, but also in all ages of the wider community and visiting tourists. Our community has embraced these fun, creative art endeavours and continues to demand more.
The Pacific Palms Arts Festival
The Pacific Palms Art Festival is an annual school fund raising event held on the June Long Weekend which has been running for 28 years. This event boasts a fantastic, ticketed, opening night function with sales of incredible, original, local artworks.
The Youth Art Competition has also been running since 2010 and is open to children up to 16 years of age. This event runs parallel to the main Art Festival. These two events are held at the quaint little beach side Pacific Palms Public School at beautiful Boomerang Beach. All works are for sale.
Pacific Palms Writers Festival

The Lake View Gallery
In collaboration with the Pacific Palms Recreation Club (The Recky), Pacific Palms now boasts a small art gallery open to the public 7 days a week. The Lake View Gallery, located in the dining auditorium of The Recky is a small gallery which is often host to some very large, spectacular works (all for sale) by talented local artists.
The Gallery is air conditioned with spectacular views and sunsets from the open air terrace or from indoors overlooking a broad expanse of Wallis Lake and distant mountains. The Club is open daily from 12pm onwards for lunch and dinner so call in and dine in an art gallery overlooking beautiful Wallis Lake. Exhibitions change approx. every 8 weeks. Easy, level access venue for anyone with a disability. The Recky can cater for large groups of people who book ahead.
Pacific Palms Self Drive Arts Trail
Pacific Palms Self Drive Arts Trail is held on the last Sunday of each month in conjunction with the Pacific Palms Market Day.
Artists available on Trail Days will be updated on our website 48 hrs prior to each Trail. Start your day wandering amongst the tall Cabbage Tree Palm Littoral Rainforest at the Pacific Palms Markets then at your leisure cruise around the area and pop in to some beautiful local shops, studios and galleries. Better still, call in at The Recky and dine for lunch or dinner in the Lake View Gallery overlooking beautiful Wallis Lake.
Proceeds from all our art initiatives support creative arts programs in our area as well as the Pacific Palms and Bungwahl Primary Schools. Ours is a not-for-profit organization run by a small group of great people.
Pop Up Art Gallery in Smiths Lake
Our fun loving local artists have also been motivated to collaborate with each other and create a Pop Up Art Gallery in an empty shop front for artists to showcase their works in the small village of Smiths Lake. This is a hub of activity as artists and talented people often meet with a coffee in hand, exchange ideas and become even more creative. At the Pop Up Art Gallery you will find handcrafted, beautiful works made from textiles, timber, sculptures, artifacts made from mixed media, timber mirrors, natural dyed textiles, hand crafted homewares, palm frond baskets/pots, brass sculptures, photography works and ceramic pieces. Up to 40 local artists are exhibiting their works in this space. Find the perfect gift for all occasions in the Pop Up Art Gallery or call in to network with other creative artists and be a part of this exciting movement. We hope to have Creative Art Classes in various mediums coming soon.
