I’m a Thai myself and love Yim Thai’s authentic Thai tastes. Their portion is very generous with fresh and good quality ingredients. Pad Thai is great with tamarind sauce.

Friendly service: appears to be a new waitress so she came back and asked for more detail for our order. Requested salad to be not spicy but came out still mild spicy. Food: great serving size and tasted nice. Nice atmosphere, also has high chair for kids, lots of coke glass and table numbers. Overall a pleasant experience.

We were pretty impressed with this little Thai place in Gloucester. We were staying in an Airbnb and after a busy day grabbed some takeaway. Very reasonably priced. Can highly recommend the veg curry puffs and satay skewers. We also had a massaman curry (beef) and coconut rice. The beef was cooked beautifully but the flavour was slightly lacking. Coconut rice was yummy and serving was huge.

Good food and great service - especially at this location didn't expect a good Thai restaurant. Bua and the team were very accommodating on a busy night during the last week of December. They did run out of a few things (eg: rice for the curries) - but the overall taste of the food served was good. Although the place isn't big, it has been creatively decorated and is very colourful inside. Will definitely go back there if we are in the area again.

This Thai restaurant is eat-in or takeaway. "Yim-Thai" offers a simple no-frills service. Thai style decor and very amiable staff. We were not rushed. There was a fun small girl (possibly Alison) putting water on tables. Seating for about 10 tables people, though there were only 4 when we ate. Popular and traditional menu options. This establishment is both licensed and non-alcoholic drinks are available. We ate a creamy Penang curry with chicken as the meat component. The chicken slivers were a little chewy, but the curry sauce was a delight. And Soya Hokkien Noodles with special Yim Thai sauce also very tasty. I tried the regionally brewed Yenda pale-ale, quite refreshing it was. It is nice to find Thai food in this fine old country town.
