Tucked away in the Comboyne State Forest not far from Coorabakh National Park, Waitui Falls is a delightful place for a picnic. It’s not a big waterfall but the waters provide a nice place for a swim. The pathway to the falls is short but it’s easy to miss the roadside marker which makes this waterfall seem even more elusive.
Located on Waitui Road, swimming in the waterhole is generally safe though young children must be supervised by adults.

Great day out. Would be better if more water flowing. Still worth the drive. Keep an out for red belly black snakes.

Drove through 6km of dirt road for 30 mins until google maps says we have arrived. But we could not find it and there was no sign of water in google maps. If you are not a local and have travelled to many falls, this is definitely NOT worth it.

Great little stop with a beautiful 2m height waterfall. It's easy to get to, park on the side of the road and the walk down to the fall it's quite easy as well if you can walk unaided. You might need some help if you have trouble walking on uneven surface. We came in winter so we didn't try swimming but i would assume it would be a cold swim even in summer. We spent 45 minutes here exploring the area and had a wonderful time with our under 10yo girls.

This waterfall is quite difficult to find if not familiar with the area and it’s also quite difficult to get down to the water. However it is a nice little spot down there and a beautiful waterfall. Lots of mozzies around so make sure you bring your Aeroguard.
