Great restaurant and bar with outdoor seating. Steak was good quality and cooked well. Rooms small and basic and in need of renovation. Bathroom was so small I couldn’t open the door without it hitting the toilet. Good value though.

This is the second time we have stayed there and the restaurant has been closed you have to book in to the pub for dinner. The rooms are comfortable the showers a hot the staff are very friendly. Only bad thing is you can't get a meal there.

Lunch stop on a cold, rainy day. The fire and staff were very welcoming. The standard pub food (no low-cal options) was well-cooked, served quickly and piping hot. Pity about the dreary decor.
