Funky cafe at the sunniest corner in Gloucester

The Common is in a heritage building at the sunniest corner of Gloucester's main street with a funky cafe plus retail space.

The smiling staff serve up Single Origin coffee and super good quick bits for breakfast, lunch and healthy takeaways. Seasonal favourites include crusty baguettes filled with turkey, cranberry, brie and rocket; fully loaded vegetable lasagne; house-made pumpkin soup with spelt sourdough toast; and poke bowls.

The retails space features awesome books for adults and kids, artisan produce, insulated keep cups and drink bottles, even 1000-piece puzzles to keep your brain active.

We are locals and love The Common. The nicest place to sit outside and meet with friends. The coffee is consistent.

We were picking up coffee on the way to Armidale over Easter. The queues here were intimidating but the staff ploughed through and produced two killer flat whites. It was so good we stopped and queued again on the way home. Worth the wait.

Thoroughly enjoyed a bacon and egg toastie with a cappuccino after a cool ride up from Newcastle. There's so many cafes to choose from so I'm really glad I dropped in here. Staff are lovely and there's a fantastic selection. Will see you again!

Good bacon and egg rolls and coffee. Friendly service too. A welcome stop on a long drive home.

Excellent coffee and very friendly staff. While visiting Gloucester I highly reccomend getting your morning coffee and toastie from here.
