Fantastic amenities in historic Stroud
Nestled in the rural village of Stroud, the showground has a range of significant buildings and other facilities, including several with important heritage values at a local level.
Facilities include a showground arena and rodeo arena (both with flood lighting), horse arena, various stalls and pavilions, grandstand, canteen, amenities (including a disabled toilet), cricket practice nets, skatepark, playground and swimming pool. There are tennis courts (with floodlighting) on the reserve as well and are managed by the Stroud Tennis Club.
Dog friendly camping!
For overnight stays, all types of camping and overnight stays in caravans and campervans is permitted at Stroud Showground. The showground offers powered sites, amenities, showers, and a laundry.
For individuals, bookings are not required. Payment can be made at Stroud District Office on 02 4994 5204. Please note, the district office is open from 9am to 12pm Monday to Friday. For motorhome stays please proceed with this online booking.
Stroud Showground is home to many significant community events such as the Stroud Show, Stroud Rodeo and Stroud Rolling Pin and Brickthrowing Contest. The showground reserve is also utilised for pony club, riding for the disabled, dressage, and dog showing.
Areas that can be booked include the Horse Arena, Show Arena (sports ground), Rodeo Arena and camping area.
