A fun and funky ex-dairy farmhouse with sweeping 360-degree views in a lush subtropical valley near the coast.
Soulitude Farmstay is a 100 year old ex-dairy in the lush coastal valley of Hannam Vale. It's a fun and funky farmhouse with sweeping 360-degree views with tranquility, rainforests, waterfalls and the Pacific Ocean beaches nearby.
The farm is situated in the beautiful Hannam Vale valley that has been likened to a lush Byron-like hinterland. Up until 10 years ago, Soulitude Farm was a fully functioning boutique dairy farm. It is set high up on 14 hectares and is a cute 4 bedroom hardwood timber cottage that's been tastefully and beautifully renovated.
The house sits inside a fully-fenced yard, and surrounded by glorious and established large shady frangipanis, mulberry, orange and numerous fruit trees.
Summer time, sit outside for hours, feeling the cooling north-easterly sea breezes. Or in winter, days are spent perfectly reading a holiday novel while feeling the warmth of the winter sun on the front covered deck, and of course enjoy a red wine beside the toasty warm fireplace later in that evening.
Maybe take a stroll down to the luxury of your own private pontoon complete with twin day beds, colourbond roof and shade cloth drop sides to control the afternoon summer heat while you catch up on a quick nap or read those Sunday papers you normally never get time for.
Situated at the end of a no through road, the property is completely private and extremely quiet. But Soulitude is still only 4 minutes from the small quaint village of Hannam Vale, where you can get a cappuccino, stock up supplies and alcohol, or enjoy a meal in the cafe through the week and the pop-up restaurant which happens Friday and Saturday nights.
