Awesome family fun at Forster's pirate-themed holiday park on the shores of Pipers Bay.

Smugglers' Cove Holiday Village is a nautical themed holiday experience and one of the leading holiday parks in the Barrington Coast. Yet it's much more than just a holiday park. Smugglers' Cove is a one-stop holiday adventure and there are exciting attractions at each turn of the head with our free form swimming pool, toddlers pool and new resort style swimming pool with water features.

Set on 8 hectares of magnificant sub-tropical surroundings right in the heart of Forster, the holiday park features an ultra modern amenities block, restaurant and entertainment complex (seasonal), shop, games room, children's play area, luxury cabins and one of the most relaxing, shaded waterfront camping areas anywhere on the coast.. Complimenting the park's nautical theme, the amenities block has been designed with style and comfort. Labelled as one of the best in Australia, it features a family bathroom, disabled facilities, spacious laundry and wide cubicles.

Perhaps you might prefer to get away from it all and enjoy the quiet, relaxing atmosphere in the camping and caravan section. The area is situated on the banks of scenic Pipers Bay, stretching right across the back of the holiday park.

Friendly, personalised service by staff makes sure that your holiday is complete and a true escape from all the day to day pressures.

Have to say one of the best parks I've ever stayed at (tent camping ) great facilities felt very safe and the pools are amazing my kid had the best time ever. The staff were super helpful after rocking up at an ungodly hour looking for somewhere to stay. Also the only park I've stayed at that had an emphasis on pet safety checking immunizations. And for the price was the best value stay I have ever had Thank you guys for the amazing holiday and creating memories for family!

Family members have stayed here recently and come back with bed bugs! The hotel is not taking any responsibility for this and saying that they must have had them before they arrived. Not true, they left their house, stayed ONLY at this hotel and then bite marks started to appear on their body while they were at the hotel. They assumed mozzies as they are also very common in the area, but they returned home and bites continued to appear and were so itchy. The hotel is actually liable for this and are stating they will not even refund a portion of the amount paid to stay here! Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. So not stay here. The place was also super run down as mentioned in a previous review. Do NOT recommend.

We had a large family reunion at Tuncurry, and smugglers cove was a great place for the family to stay. The grounds are well maintained with heaps of activities to keep the kids entertained. The pet friendly cabins were very clean. Good location with the shops just down the road if you need supplies. We are planning another holiday in 2025 at smugglers

We’ve been coming here for 22 years. The past 18 months the park is so run down. The palm tree mess is piled up creating a snake haven. The cabins are out of date and the verandahs look like they need a mega paint job. The pool areas are nice although the small pool was full of leaves and branches. Park curfew used to be 10pm but we did not see one security guard or management walk through the park to ensure crowds were following the rules. 2 nights we had to put up with profanities from drunk people and children riding scooters till 1am. Darren the old park manager used to be on dog watch to ensure that everyone followed the rules. Some people like us like to look forward to going away for a relaxing holiday to get away from the hustle and bustle but having that at our window was very confronting and annoying. We get people are up for fun and catching up that’s great but abide by park rules. If you want to party all night book somewhere in the bush. This is meant to be a family park so I do think the staff and management need to step up and take responsibility for a once absolutely beautiful park. When we arrived the amenities were lovely and clean, over the weekend the ladies toilets had 4 soiled messed toilets out of 8. Again management or staff should be regularly checking the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Camp kitchen windows near pool shouldn’t be locked on a hot day. Take off the padlocks and let the sun and fresh air get in. We were looking forward to a much needed rest but instead was a dam eye opener! So sad.
