We just spent 4 nights on a water front site at the lake front. Beautiful view, very shallow water but perfect for kayaking. Spotted a deer the day we left. Amenities and toilets were fine. Could do with more regular cleaning but you're camping so I don't expect sparkling amenities. The water pressure in the showers is heaven!! Yes there is an over 50's estate being built next door, I suggest if you think the noise will bother you then ask for a site closer to the pool/reception more in the centre of the park. It still has a long way to go but didn't personally bother us. The camp sites are very generous in size. Yes it can get soggy in some sites but we also had 4 days of rain so you have to expect that. Staff during booking were super friendly and kind. We would definitely stay again

It’s our first campground for our first Motorhome trip. It’s located on the tranquil shores of Wallis Lake and we tried to book it few weeks before our trip but couldn’t get a lake view spot because it’s so popular. We arrived after office hours but it’s not an issue as the staff left the check in information for us to pick up. We arrived at 6pm and just the right time to see the beautiful sunset. The lake view was really nice and it’s just a 2 minutes walk from our powered site. As we only stayed for one night so not much time to walk around the site and look at the amenities. The toilet and shower room was clean and the place was nicely kept too. Definitely will come back. Recommend!
