Indulge in simple pleasures: great food, coffee, gift shopping and music at Johns River.

Our café epitomises rustic cuisine - locally grown, seasonally-based, good simple food - prepared by Rosie’s talented culinary staff, who source the many of their ingredients from the Café’s own kitchen gardens. Fresh food - freshly picked and then simply prepared.

Rosie's gift shop is located within the gallery where you'll find delightful and unique gifts as well as beautiful decorator pieces for the home. We have several local artists who display in the gallery and throughout the cafe area.

There are several locations within the cafe and in the al fresco area where artists can perform and patrons can enjoy music, a speech or a comedy.
We are licensed, so if you have a favourite food that you would like to match with a great wine or beer - or a combination that you’ve already discovered - let us know and we’ll include it in our repertoire.

Relax with a glass of wine in the leafy courtyard or sample a crisp local pilsner and tapas in the bar and don’t forget to visit the gallery and gift shop.

Rosie's is a convenient spot to stop on your NSW north coastal drive. Friendly staff, fresh food, lots of little snacks and treats for takeaway, decent prices, indoor and outdoor seating. I didn't get to try the coffee unfortunately. Recommended for hungry travelers.

Found this place quite by accident on the way back from Port Macquarie to Sydney. Beautiful little outdoor area where dogs are welcome, the best service, food was amazing and coffee was hot! I’ve never enjoyed my breakfast so much in ages, cooked to perfection.
