Indulge in simple pleasures: great food, coffee, gift shopping and music at Johns River.
Our café epitomises rustic cuisine - locally grown, seasonally-based, good simple food - prepared by Rosie’s talented culinary staff, who source the many of their ingredients from the Café’s own kitchen gardens. Fresh food - freshly picked and then simply prepared.
Rosie's gift shop is located within the gallery where you'll find delightful and unique gifts as well as beautiful decorator pieces for the home. We have several local artists who display in the gallery and throughout the cafe area.
There are several locations within the cafe and in the al fresco area where artists can perform and patrons can enjoy music, a speech or a comedy.
We are licensed, so if you have a favourite food that you would like to match with a great wine or beer - or a combination that you’ve already discovered - let us know and we’ll include it in our repertoire.
Relax with a glass of wine in the leafy courtyard or sample a crisp local pilsner and tapas in the bar and don’t forget to visit the gallery and gift shop.

Oh my goodness! The best salad sandwiches ever! Really good coffee too. Great little garden to sit in or inside if you choose. Outside is all ability access. Would like to try the scones next time I’m driving past. Certainly worth getting off the highway to visit.

Clean, fresh food, and probably the best loos I have been to while travelling with my ten year old DD! Lots of bits and bobs to look at too! Turn off the highway do yourself a favour!

The home made food here is sensational. We had an egg and bacon roll and home made spinach and feta slice, strawberry thick shake and an ice coffee. Well worth pulling of the highway and be greeted with a smile. Also have local handcrafts and honey and natural hand and body creams.
