Very nice peaceful location with fantastic views each way you look. The cottage has everything you need and nothing you don't. Very nice and clean and close to the national park and some quality walking tracks or 4WD tracks. Nice easy access to the river behind the house. Would highly recommend for a stay.

We had such clear directions from Alison to arrive at their beautiful cottage. Easy access and the place is obviously lovingly restored to what it was years ago. Everything we could have wanted to cook, explore the area, explain the cottage amenities etc was done beyond expectations. We had everything we needed. It was so refreshing to open the wooden window shutters and look out over the countryside and listen to the birds singing. The proximity to the Barrington Tops meant we could spend the day exploring the area and the only a short drive back to our cosy cottage. The Tops is a simply amazing forest to visit. The creek on the border of the property would be delightful in the warmer months- we didn’t venture in this time - unfortunately no platypus despite us going early in the morning and late in the afternoon- next time. Thanks to Alison and Daniel for restoring the cottage for us to enjoy. Andrew and Sheree from Melbourne

If you want to experience the true Australian culture from years gone by then Roseleigh cottage is the essence of that. It is rustic, don't expect luxury but if you want peace, quietness a chance to step back to the days when life was simple then here you have it. The land of Banjo Patterson, Henry Lawson...an appreciation of true spirit. I LOVED Roseleigh Cottage and it will be part of my memories of a beautiful world of Australia.
