Roseleigh is a beautifully renovated cottage in a delightful spot overlooking the Gloucester River, and only a few kilometres from the National Park. It is well appointed, and beds and pillows are very comfortable. A great getaway, but if you must have 'reception' better look elsewhere! Ted Nixon

Roseleigh - what a marvellous place to unwind, away from the wifi, the devices and away from the wider world. From the nearby soft babble of the Gloucester River, to the distant sound of the neighbouring cows; it all makes for such a tranquil and relaxing retreat. A minute feels like a week - time to think - and time to feel. Daniel's and Alison's thoughtfulness and attention to every detail is impressive, with luxury and deep experience for their guests, in front of mind. Our family of four stayed at Roseleigh and were impressed from the very moment we arrived. From the packet of marshmallows they left us, to the incredibly comfy beds, from the extra duvets to the extensive information about both the cottage itself and the surrounds; we left feeling we'd rather not leave...and isn't that what we all want when we leave such a memorable place?

Roseleigh Cottage is a haven, providing everything we could wish for: peace, tranquillity, beauty and comfort. So many thoughtful added extras, such attention to detail: loved using the hammock down by the river! The birdlife, the sunsets and sunrises, the access to amazing walks....the firepit, the barbeque and an amazing bath at the end of the day: all making it easy. Mown pathways down to the river making such easy access. Talk about spoilt! We could not ask for more and will be back as soon as we can. thank you Alison and Daniel.

We had such clear directions from Alison to arrive at their beautiful cottage. Easy access and the place is obviously lovingly restored to what it was years ago. Everything we could have wanted to cook, explore the area, explain the cottage amenities etc was done beyond expectations. We had everything we needed. It was so refreshing to open the wooden window shutters and look out over the countryside and listen to the birds singing. The proximity to the Barrington Tops meant we could spend the day exploring the area and the only a short drive back to our cosy cottage. The Tops is a simply amazing forest to visit. The creek on the border of the property would be delightful in the warmer months- we didn’t venture in this time - unfortunately no platypus despite us going early in the morning and late in the afternoon- next time. Thanks to Alison and Daniel for restoring the cottage for us to enjoy. Andrew and Sheree from Melbourne
