Our aim at Reel Ocean Adventures is to offer our passengers a fishing experience like no other in the Forster/Tuncurry area: a charter that will have you feeling welcomed from the moment you step on board our immaculately presented 17 metre charter vessel Illusion.

You’ll be treated to a happy vibrant atmosphere from the professional charter and cruise operators Phil and Noel Gogerly and our staff, who will have every guest feeling like they are more than just a number. Our business strives to give all of our passengers an experience they will long remember and wanting to come back again and again.

Our business focuses on charters with a difference along with fishing charters our relaxing sunrise/sunset cruises and whale and dolphin watching is a major draw card for visitors. Due to the size of ‘Illusion’ and the deck space we will be able to offer each of our passengers a chance to get up close with some of our most breathtaking mammals or have the space to relax and unwind on a cruise. As passengers walk around the deck, they will be able to take photos and videos to relive their experience to friends and family.

Passengers will be treated to light snacks and refreshments on each charter/cruise.

Best fishing trip, ever! I can’t recommend these guys highly enough. Outstanding fishing charter! The boat is comfortable and very stable in the water but powerful for a quick journey to the fishing spots. Phil, the skipper positions the boat in the calmest way possible, and right on top of the fish! When the fishes ceased biting we changed reefs, no (fuel)expense were spared. Excellent rod and reels were accompanied by an abundance of bait. One is free to bait the hooks, but for the less experienced there is always help close by. A wholesome lunch, was supplied, filled rolls, different fruits for self serve, snacks, a whole fridge full of soft drinks and water (help yourself), and the muffins were accompanied by hot coffee or tea! Also, the environment is taken care of, the fish were cleaned and packed into containers supplied by us, the customers and not in plastic bags. We caught a lot of and different species of fish. I now will go and buy a bigger Esky! Thank you so much!

Fantastic in every way, the crew were very attentive and accommodating, the boat very spacious and comfortable! they even bait your hooks for you! excellent value for money and a great day out. a wonderful local business, please support them.
