Our agency has been servicing the real estate needs of the Forster-Tuncurry area for over 30 years.

Established in 1975, the firm joined the Professionals Real Estate group in March 1986. Currently owned and operated by partners Richard & Karen Crowther and Darrell & Genene Roche, the business has grown consistently and now has 16 staff with a combined total of over 100 years service in real estate.

THE worst experience I have ever had with a Real Estate Agency in my life - and I have had a few, both as a buyer/seller, renter and when I worked on the Real Estate Show on Sky Business some years ago. I put in an application for a property with "The Professionals" 3 weeks ago. I left a message a day after I put the application in and no-one bothered to get back to me. I did the same the next and the next day, only to get the same result. When I asked why this may be happening I was told the agent was on a couple of days leave. When I suggested that there may be someone else who could help me, I was told no-one could. Are you kidding me? The next week I tried leaving a message again. No response. I have long since found another property through another agent and am about to move into a MUCH nicer place and for less money. Yesterday I finally got an email back that I have been unsuccessful, because the owner had so many people to choose from, and that they could help me search for another one. Even if the owner is taking their time, that doesn't mean you leave a client with absolutely no indication of where they stand, let alone not respond to a number of attempts to find out what is going on. It's a good thing I am proactive and didn't sit around waiting. As for using the name "The Professionals", my experience with this company - well the rental division - was entirely the opposite.

Very “unprofessional.” Their Forster Accommodation website doesn’t allow you to complete your booking so I called the office at 1:20pm on Sunday 11th October to make my booking. I called 6 times throughout the afternoon and it continued to go to voice message. I called the office on Monday to discuss this and make the booking and spoke to a young girl whom was polite and informative but the property had been booked that morning so because of the negligence of this company my family and I missed out on the property. It states that your office is open until 3pm on Sundays on your voice message and the internet which is obviously not the case so it’s false advertising or they could have let the public know otherwise. They also need to sort their website out because it’s poor and so none else misses out on a booking. Don’t waste your time with this company.

Recently sold one of our investment properties through Janet, after another family recommended. From the onset all seemed to be a great experience. Unfortunately by the end I was left feeling a little unsettled and mishandled. Yes the job was done and after 12 months on the market cannot fault them here. but not a way which I would like my next sale handled, we the owners are customers too. The sale was a drawn out process, and ended in a terrible enchange call between us. Will take a second look elsewhere before buying or selling again. The new office looks great.
