The Pacific Palms Recreation Club (known fondly as The Recky) has an unbeatable location on the shores of Wallis Lake at Elizabeth Beach in Pacific Palms. It's one of only two clubs on Wallis Lake where you can arrive by boat.

There's no better place to enjoy a meal and refreshment and al fresco dining is the speciality here. The bistro is open for lunch and dinner daily, and you can get all your favourites that won't break the family budget: steaks, seafood, salads, pastas, roasts, burgers and more. The sunset views across to Wallingat National Park are sensational.

Customer service by some of the staff is appalling. Cameron who "greeted" our group was condescending and arrogant. When we were lining up to place an order at the bistro Cameron ordered us to wait outside and then proceeded to let others cut in before us. We ended up leaving as did many other customers who were equally offended by his behaviour. Aside from the lovely female bar tender some of the restaurant staff were disinterested and honestly looked like they hated their job. Such a shame as it's a lovely spot but they will continue to lose much needed business with staff that display such a poor attitude.
