A farmstay cottage on a working farm at Hannam Vale: farming regeneratively, living sustainably.
The Dairy Bales at Old Fig Farm is a three bedroom cottage in beautiful dairy country at Hannam Vale.
Old Fig Farm is a 40 hectare working farm and the owners follow the farming practices of regenerative agriculture: chemical free, caring for planet, people, animals, soil. On this green and pretty farm you'll find cattle, goats, horses, chickens, guinea fowl and organic limes.
The Dairy Bales offers affordable and comfortable country accommodation with a real sense of history. The cottage is a converted 100 year old building, situated 100 metres from the owner’s home so it's very private. The accommodation is fully self-contained with three bedrooms (two queen beds plus one with two singles as bunk beds), living and dining, kitchen and bathroom. There's a lovely rose garden, farm veggie garden, barbecue and outdoor dining table. The home is fully fenced with lovely country views and access to a shared pool.
Nestled between majestic national parks and state forests, Hannam Vale is one of the most fertile and picturesque valleys in the Barrington Coast. Hannam Vale is the ideal place for a country getaway, romantic escape, or family holiday. Stay awhile and explore the Barrington Coast hinterland while still being close to the popular beaches and tourism attractions of towns like Port Macquarie, Harrington, Crowdy Head, North Haven and Taree.
