Mungo Brush campground is a popular and well known campground located in Myall Lakes National Park near Hawks Nest. It is a great place to take your caravan, campervan, trailer or tent. There are tonnes of campsites to choose from so you're bound to find one that suits you well.

From the campground there is easy access north to Mungo Rainforest walk and south to Tamboi walking track and Mungo walking track. Being right on the lake means there are great opportunities to go for a kayak or canoe along the lower Myall River to Hawks Nest.

A short walk from the campground leads to the beach, where you go swimming, fishing and sailboarding. If you're clever enough to catch a fish, you can cook it up for dinner on one of the barbecues in the campground.

Great campsite by the Myall lake where you can swim, kayak or just have kids play. Sites on the north side are of good size although very close to each other. Toilets are of the drop type, not the most friendly. Many walks, sand dunes and aboriginal sites are in the surroundings.

Mostly quiet and respectful by others. Always some young crowd wanting to make it their place and disregard others around them. Enjoyed the local animals. Even the wind and rain could not stop us enjoying the surrounds. Site 2 is right on the lake.

Quiet and peaceful, would of liked more grass campsites but nice nonetheless

Amazing place, you can enjoy the lake and the beach in heart of national park, being in the beach at the midnight was the best experience ever
