We offer first class facilities for the performing arts, from school productions and amateur theatre to artists of national and international acclaim.

The Manning Entertainment Centre is a 505 seat theatre in Taree serving residents and visitors to the Barrington Coast. The centre was built as a bicentennial project in 1987 and has a long history of attracting the highest quality performers to the region including the Australian Ballet, Dame Joan Sutherland, Circus Oz, Guy Sebastian and the Doug Anthony Allstars.

The Manning Entertainment Centre is an important asset for local performers, with regular use by local schools, dance schools and groups including the Taree Arts Council, Manning Valley Choral Society and Taree & District Eisteddfod.

I recently attended my daughter's end of year Drama production performed at the MEC. It was amazing. This venue is one of the best. Excellent and outstanding friendly Service and staff. highly recommend taking in a show if you are in town or you a local resident.

My daughters dance tickets had sold out in 1 day and I was not able to get any online. I rang the box office the very next day and spoke to a lovely lady called Gaye... I told her how I was unable to get any tickets to see my daughter's dance show. Gaye was so helpful and kind. She took my number down and told me she would see if she could do anything and would call me back. Within 5 minutes Gaye called me back and I was able to purchase 2 tickets to the Show. Gayes kindness and customer service is absolutely amazing and I am so thankful she was able to help me out....

Awesome first time experience tonight at the Taree entertainment centre. Seating was perfect, nice and close and comfortable. Lovely venue with very helpful staff, will be back.

Fantastic venue for live theatre in the heart of Taree. We saw David Bowie Rebel Circus last night. Brilliant colourful show.

My first visit here, to see Soweto Gospel Choir. A very impressive facility, very efficient staff. They moved hundreds of people both into and back out of the space quickly, including a number of people with disabilities,
