Kylie's Beach access point has been closed indefinitely after significant erosion has made it dangerous for vehicles.
MidCoast Council has been working with National Parks and Wildlife to place signage and keep the community informed about the closure of Kylie’s Beach Campground beach access.
While Kylie’s Campground is managed by National Parks and Wildlife, Council’s beach driving permit includes the beach access point and both organisations have assessed the area and deemed it unsafe.
For more information, please see the official media release on MidCoast Council's website.
Kylies Beach is located in Crowdy Bay National Park.
You can access it via Kylies Beach Campground or along the Diamond Head Loop walking track.
The beach, campground and Kylies Lookout are named after the Australian author Kylie Tennant who based herself here as she wrote her novels.
