Friendly staff and a fantastic lunch at the Sun Bistro watching the golfers do their thing.

My partner and I visited Hawks Nest Golf Club for the first time on Saturday night and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. We spent the afternoon having a bet on the horses and enjoying a few drinks. We chose to dine in at the Sun Bistro and the quality of the Chinese food was outstanding! very tasty and generous servings. However our night was somewhat soured by a male patron who was argumentative with staff about how poor his meal was? funnily enough his plates were empty with only vegetables left? This aside, we will be returning to this club, Friendly staff, big clubhouse and beautiful golf course.

My food was still frozen in the middle when served, rest of the club service was good.

Great club, friendly staff. Chinese restaurant worst quality/value for money. 11 diners on a Sat night reflection of my comment. Made complaint, asked to leave. Eat there at your own peril, be warned.

Golf course was good, nice broad fairways. Found the back 9 a bit more varied and challenging. A little more signage to direct newcomers to the next tee would be great though !
