Sharon and Barney were an awesome help. We stayed overnight while our van was being repaired. They kindly offered us plenty of ideas to do while we spent time here with only bikes to explore. They also looked after our overnight bag until our van was ready the next day. Great welcoming and friendly service.

The best and biggest little tourism bureau in NSW! While they have a small number of staff, they are huge when it comes to information about the Gloucester District's nature, activities, sights, sounds and experiences. They could even book our tickets on the Brisbane train. Great to see tourism back at grassroots level. Well done Barney and Benita :-)

Barney was brilliant. Gave us a bunch of helpful recommendations on local drives, lookout points and places to hike in around Barrington and Gloucester. Great local coffee and food recommendations too. We also picked up a bunch of maps and info guides. Def worth stopping by if you are a first time visitor to the town!

My friend and I went to the Visitor Information Centre in the hope they would be able to give us some information on getting my friend back to Taree given my car had suffered mechanical issues on the way back from Quirindi the night before and I wasn’t able to get him back there. Barney and Benita were not only very helpful but also very friendly and understanding of our circumstances. They immediately initiated a booking for a train ticket and backed that up with a ride share option (roam). We decided to go with the ride share option and within minutes my friend was on his way to Taree. They didn’t stop there, they offered to call around to source me a bicycle given my car was going to be unserviceable for some time and I needed to travel between town and where I am living about 10km away. They were so helpful and friendly, so typical of this town. I highly recommend visiting the centre to experience above and beyond customer service.

So helpful and very knowledgeable, went well above and beyond making phone calls to other areas to work out what roads were open for us!
