Incorporating the Forster Golf Course and Tuncurry Golf Course.
Tuncurry Golf Course
The hidden gem on the Barrington Coast, very few players leave this course untouched by its natural beauty. The par 72 championship layout is sure to test golfers of all skill levels. Demanding from the tee the rolling couch fairways and relatively flat putting surfaces reward the player that drives the ball well from the tee.
The course has the great ability to handle rain in extended wet periods; the sand base keeps the course in perfect playing conditions whilst surrounding courses are closed for days and sometimes weeks. Well worth a game and not to be missed if you’re passing through the area.
At Tuncurry there is a fully licensed clubhouse in a unique rustic setting called The Cottage. It has a full wet bar, change room and shower facilities, kitchen and meeting area, a fully equipped pro shop and wonderful outdoor barbecue area where members and visitors can gather and socialise before and after a round of golf.
Forster Golf Course
One of the friendliest seaside courses on the north coast, the Forster course attracts a large number of social golfers year round. At 4,868 metres, par 66 for the men and par 68 for the ladies, its generous fairways and forgiving rough are major factors in attracting golfers out for an enjoyable experience.
Don’t be fooled by the courses short par fours, smaller greens, the sea breeze, bunkers and water hazards are not to be disregarded and have brought many a good round unstuck.
The course is nestled just off Forster’s One Mile Beach with holes 1 to 6 of the front nine on the beach side of the club house sure to remind you where you are, beautiful ocean breeze and glimpses of the sand.
At Forster there is a fully licensed clubhouse overlooking the magnificent Pacific Ocean. Facilities include 3 full wet bars, poker machines, keno, a smokers deck, change room and shower facilities, Buko’s Bistro with a most extensive menu and a large lounge area where members and guests can socialise in a fun and friendly environment. There is also a function centre which can cater up to 220 guests and a fully equipped professional golf shop.
With a current golfing membership around 1200 members, competitions are run 7 days a week and visitors are welcome to join a competition or just play socially.
Activities at the Forster clubhouse include trivia every second Tuesday, raffles Thursday, Friday and Sunday and live music from 5pm Sunday.

My wife and I had dinner here. My wife ordered lamb shanks with potato mash and veg. They had run out of mash so had a choice of extra veg or chips. Chips it was, but she was disappointed. But the lamb shank was good though. I had lobster morney. The salad end chips were good but the lobster was very overcooked and dry. The chef was informed who came out. She and the other staff members were very courteous. Maybe we just picked a bad night. The club had a good atmosphere and we had an enjoyable night but were just disappointed by our meals.

The food at the Forster golf club is phenomenal, also reasonably priced. We had the chicken sizzle plate and sweet and sour pork ribs. So tasty. We will come again before we Leave for home.

Great fun golf course. Generally can play through quite quickly. Make sure you dont hook or slice the ball on a few as they are directly next to the road. Other then that, great to play. The food and drinks are good also.
