Scuba dive with dolphins, sharks, turtles, whales & more.

We are fully licensed by NSW Maritime to enable us to put one person at a time into the water, beside our vessel, in the open ocean. And this is where you will get the chance for wild dolphins to swim with you in their environment.

Dive Forster at Fisherman's Wharf invites you to join us on some of the most spectacular dives to be had on the NSW coast. Most of our dive sites are located in the Great Lakes Port Stephens Marine Park, and we actively monitor and support the Park as we dive the sites.

We also conduct swimming with dolphins cruises, which gives you the opportunity to swim with wild dolphins...

Dive Forster at Fisherman's Wharf has provided truly wonderful experiences for thousands of customers in our local open ocean and lake environment, offering a fantastic opportunity for in-water dolphin interaction.

There are only fifteen places in the World where you can swim with wild dolphins, 5 of these are in Australia.

All of our scuba dives are escorted by experienced, knowledgeable PADI Divemasters and Instructors. Our main attraction is our year 'round population of Grey Nurse Sharks. Seal Rocks in particular is famous for it's "more sharks than water" days.

Our boat, the TSMV Avanti (Italian for fast) is purpose built for scuba diving, with two side exits and two boarding ladders. The tank racks are located in the middle of the boat, allowing for easy movement around the deck and comfortable gearing up. Our boat is by far one of the best day charter boats on the coast, and with two brand new engines she's faster and smoother than ever. We dive everyday, weather and seas permitting.

Our dive sites here at Forster are among some of the best in the world. And with our boat going out everyday, you've got no reason to miss out.

Our boat takes a maximum of 16 divers; if you're from a dive centre or dive club and you're thinking about a group trip to Forster, we offer weekend and midweek packages including accommodation. We'd love to have you dive with us!

Gabby is an excellent teacher. No rush, no problems. Cruisey time, very good service.

Probably the funniest dive crew I've dived with. Make great tea. I found the dives very interesting, and unique. Saw a lot of nurse sharks and wobbegongs

Their booking system doesn't work or staff refuse to honour booking. Just be careful especially those doing long drive just to get here.

I’m a bit disappointed with them. My partner and I missed out on our scuba diving course and our Bali trip because of the recent volcanic eruption. Coming to Forster instead, we called up Forster Dive on the weekend to see if they had places. We were told there were “plenty of spaces” and to drop in during the week to pick up our online course passwords and pay. When we got there on Monday we were told there weren’t spaces after all, but to hang around town for the day as they would check with a second instructor and give us a call back. Waited around, went home, then called the next day to see if they found spaces for us. We were then told that there were definitely no spaces. ...Thanks for letting us know!
