A beautiful 4.5-star retreat for the eco-conscious traveller situated beside Myall Lakes National Park.

Our glass and timber cottages are architecturally designed to respect the natural environment and to celebrate the unique heritage of our surroundings. The sun-drenched living area provides spectacular 360 degree bush and valley views and each cottage is positioned discretely within the foliage to ensure privacy.

With polished timber floors and modern interiors, cottage appointments are both stylish and comfortable with plenty of space to spread out and settle in. Floor to ceiling glass doors open to the surrounding veranda and provide the perfect place to put your feet up and watch the sunset or retire to the hammock to listen to the birds. The main living area also offers a large wood-burning fireplace as well as a new television, DVD and CD player.

The kitchen is equipped to handle everything from sandwiches for a picnic to a gourmet meal of your own devising. Each cottage has stainless steel appliances and an outdoor gas barbecue

Cottages comfortably accommodate 2 people with a large downstairs master bedroom. Extra guests can be accommodated in the upstairs loft with a double and single bed. One cottage is larger and suited to 4-6 guests. Each room comes supplied with all the comforts you could want to fully relax in this setting – thick, fluffy bathrobes, electric blankets and cozy doonas. Watching the dawn rise over the valley from the warmth of your bed is one of the great pleasures of staying with us!

Central to the spacious bathroom is an oversized spa bath that we hope will encourage our guests to unwind and enjoy their time at Bombah Point Eco Cottages.

We are a self catering retreat and have provided each cottage with all the tools and supplies necessary to create delicious meals. We have a limited quantity of kitchen basics that can be purchased, and special kitchen equipment in our communal building that can be provided on request.

Guests looking for a novel to read by the fire or a wildlife guidebook to identify the bird outside their bedroom need go no further than our central reception building and adjacent cabana. There is a comprehensive reading library of fiction and reference books and information on activities available in the local area. In addition, there is a collection of DVDs and CDs that are available for guests to borrow.

What an amazing place. We were looking for something a little different and Bombah Point Eco Cottages didn't disappoint. Lauren and Clint went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Little touches like fresh fruit and Lauren walking us to our room shows how far they go for their customers. The accommodation was clean and very well kept. The property is quiet with so many things to do. Thanks again for the great little get away Lauren.

Lovely cottages surrounded by trees and bird calls, you feel pretty secluded and cosy here. The owners Lauren and Clint are super lovely and very accommodating, they even treated us to a nice bottle of wine and chocolate during our week-long stay! The facilities are great! A pool, free pool table, tonnes of games and DVDs. There isn't any wifi and the internet coverage is patchy, but it's good enough for Spotify, and it's nice to switch off for a bit. We hope to be back!

My husband and I stayed at this gorgeous place for our 10-year wedding anniversary. We were welcomed so warmly by the hosts, Lauren and Clint, and were blown away by the beauty of the property, it is such a special piece of land. We felt so private and secluded, our cabin was surrounded by trees, and we didn’t hear anything except birdsong all day - it was as if we were in our own little world for the weekend. The cabins are beautifully designed, lots of luxury touches, super well-appointed (we always expect there won’t be good saucepans, or sharp knives, or a grater or whatever, but these cabins have EVERYTHING), and we wanted for nothing. We kept the log fire roaring over the chilly nights so we were always toasty (Lauren kindly gave us a tutorial!), and spent the days on the wraparound veranda in the sunshine, reading in the hammock, bushwalking, and our favourite afternoon we spent kayaking at sunset. We’ll be back, this place is unique, stunning, and a true gem.

Many thanks to Lauren and Clint for a wonderful week at Bombah Point. They are both great hosts who made sure our stay was both fun and relaxing. Our cottage was terrific. Very comfortable and with all the mod cons we wanted. The location is sublime with ample activities for the family. We especially loved our kayak on the lake and the beautiful walks in the surrounding areas. I’d definitely return and I highly recommend Bombah Point for a place to unwind.

What a very cool spot Lauren & Clint have got here! We loved our few days at Bombah Point - easy day trips to Dark Point sand dunes, tea gardens and Seal Rocks but also fab just to enjoy the property - the pool, trampoline, walks, the orchard & the chickens. Myall lake so close was all a great break from city living. The cottages have plenty of room for a family and the fireflies at night were stunning! Kids are still sad they didn't get to see Pythagoras so we might have to come back.
