On the positive side the unit (205) was relatively spacious, airy, clean and had ample kitchen utensils, pans and crockery. The balcony overlooking the pool was a bonus. On the down side, they were supposed to text a code for us to obtain our key while socially distancing, but it never appeared. There were instructions for the toaster, but not the ceramic stovetop and oven, whose controls had been rubbed out of existence. If you wanted separate beds in the second bedroom, you had great difficulty reaching the wardrobe and window, and the free WiFi didn't make an appearance until we made a complaint to management, who, by the way, would not acknowledge our call on a public holiday.

Fantastic family-friendly resort with lap pool, artificial beach for kids and steam room. In walking distance to fish and chips, gelato, coffee and the local pub.

Found the Boathouse Resort, location wise, to be in a terrific spot. Situated right on the river and a pleasant stroll from shops restaurants, pub and club. It was a nice place and had all the trimmings like pool gym BBQ area but the unit itself was a little worse for wear. There is a line between wear and tear and it's time to do some serious maintenance and maintenance time has come i feel. Not worth the money paid for but Tea Gardens itself is an absolute gem
