Convenient, friendly and easy going beach cafe, good looking menu, had the fishermen meal for two, lots of chips with pretty average fish and prawn fritters

Had lunch here. Gorgeous fish and chip couples basket. The kids actually liked the chicken nuggets( they’re not fans of takeaway nuggets normally) the beach is just across the grass and their is a great play area and public pool right next to the cafe too. Staff treated everyone warmly. Well done on COVID safe practices and great amenities for sanitation and distancing. You all worked super hard, but every meme we I saw was smiling. Brilliant and delicious! And I’m Actually impressed with the gorgeous fresh tomato topping on the aioli and the tornado prawn deep fried finger food was exceptional! Thanks to everyone for making us welcome and providing great service with even nicer fish and chips!

Great burgers. Friendly staff and beach front views. This is why it's worth going 10 min off the highway and explore. 100x better than a road house Macca's.

Sadly, the menu is better than the product. I have struggled with this review because of previous positive comments. I have now had 3 meals here and have found the food to be average at best. Value for money is very low. At the last visit they managed to get my name wrong and subsequently the meal was cold. The staff are more interested in talking to each other than customers.

Why work in hospitality if you're not genuinely hospitable?
