One of the best beaches in the Manning Valley region of the Barrington Coast.

Black Head Beach is a multi-award winning beach under the Keep Australia Beautiful Program. It is patrolled during summer and regarded as one of the best swimming beaches in the Manning Valley region of the Barrington Coast. It features shady Norfolk Island pines around a pretty lagoon, an ocean pool, excellent fishing opportunities, picnic areas and barbecues.

Hallidays Point village has a small shopping precinct, bowling club, pub, restaurants and takeaways.

There are excellent beach fishing opportunities and a pretty picnic area with barbecues under the shade of Norfolk Island pines that line the entry to the beach. The lagoon that separates the sand dunes to the village centre is one of the many beautiful features of the littoral rainforest nature reserve at Black Head.

Meander along the rainforest walk behind Black Head Beach which encompasses striking coastal landforms and rare tracts of littoral rainforest, a must for nature lovers and keen photographers. Don't miss the purpose-built whale watching platform for expansive views along the coastline.

Black Head is also home one of the biggest markets in the Barrington Coast, Black Head Bazaar, which happens on the first Sunday of the month from September to May.

Whilst there was only a few people on the beach ,our granddaughters absolutely enjoyed themselves, we seen lots and lots of dolphins

Nice enough though holiday traffic gets a bit busy. Good trails from the lookout around to whale watching station.
