Beautiful rugged and unspoilt mountains west of Gloucester

Barrington Top Forest Road takes you over the magnificent World Heritage listed Barrington Tops. The drive from Gloucester to Scone is 145km through the villages of Barrington, Copeland, Rawdon Vale, Moonan Flat, Belltrees and Gundy.

On the eastern side of Barrington Tops , Scone Road is bitumen to the Dilgry River bridge where Barrington Tops Forest Road begins. The bitumen continues up the plateau to the park entrance.

Then the road becomes graded gravel, across the plateau and down the western side into Moonan Flat where it joins Moonan Brook Road.
